The journey to the South Pole on Skis is the ultimate and most exhilarating ski journey on earth. From Punta Arenas in Chile we’ll fly across central Antarctica to be dropped off at 89 degrees south. From here we head south on our seven day journey towards the South Pole.
The journey takes us into an extreme environment that will offer a real physical and mental challenge.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I have a deep personal belief in trying to squeeze every possible bit of life out of the time we’re given. I’ve been fortunate to work with St Clare Hospice for a number of years and they epitomise this.
When someone’s life is drawing to a close and they are turned upside down, the hospice scoops them up, and delivers not just care, but as much normality and quality of life as possible, right until the end.
They need £15,000 per day to operate and we’re aiming to keep them going for two weeks.
It’ll be a journey of hardship and dedication, and from training to fundraising, we’re committing to get the job done.
In memory of those who have been.
In readiness for those who will come.

Putting together an expedition of this scale is a huge undertaking. It takes significant resources and a lot of time and effort from a lot of people. Just completing the 8000-mile journey to Antarctica and back, requires so much funding let alone the last 100km to the pole. We could not do this trip without the funding from our fantastic patrons, and I would like to thank them for their generosity and support.
